Gujarat home ministry school open about news

Orders have been issued to open schools for children from 9 to 12.  The government has decided some guidelines that will be followed by both parents and the school administration. Only then can the children be sent to school.  The government has decided that schools will be opened in UP from October 19.  Schools will have to obtain written consent from parents to determine whether they are willing to send their child to school.  This information was given by Deputy Chief Minister of UP Dr. Dinesh Sharma on Saturday late evening.

He told that no school of any class will open in the Containment Zone.  The schools will be run in two shifts.  Students of classes 9 and 10 in the first shift and classes 11 and 12 in the second shift should be called.  Only up to 50 percent of the students of a class can be called in a day.  The remaining students will be called on the second day.  Flexible approach will be adopted for school attendance and no student will be forced to come to school.

Online education will also continue

Dr. Sharma has instructed that the system of online education will continue as before.  Priority should be given to those students who do not have online education facility in calling the school.  If students want to study online while at home, then this facility should be given to them.

School will have to be sanitized after every shift

In class, children can be seated at least six feet away from each other.  The school will be sanitized after every shift.  Schools will have sanitizer, handwash, thermal scanning and first aid.  If a student, teacher or other employee has symptoms of cough, cold or fever, they will be sent back home giving first aid.  Social distancing will be followed at the gate at the time of admission and leave.  Not all students will be discharged simultaneously.  If there is more than one entrance in the schools, their use will be ensured.  School bus or van etc. will also be sanitized daily.  Additional quantities of masks will be made available by the school management.
