In myocarditis or pericarditis, inflammation of the heart or surrounding muscles can lead to chest inflammation.

The benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks of rare complications

Experts believe that all such cases are less likely to be linked to the vaccine and that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risk of this rare complication.  But such reports have raised concerns among some researchers, as more than 50% of heart problems have been reported in people between the ages of 12 and 24.  While only 9% of the total vaccinated people are of this age.

CDC vaccine expert Dr.  According to Tom, the figures are unbalanced.  On June 18, all of the agency's advisers will hold a meeting to discuss the causes of these heart-related diseases (myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle, and pericarditis, inflammation of the membranes around the heart).

Cases of rare heart disease exceeded expectations

Rare heart disease is found in about two-thirds of young men, with an average age of 30 years.  Officials believe the number is higher than expected for that age group, but not enough evidence has been found to link all of these cases to vaccinations.
